Virginia Mae Samuel, 79, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2009, in Greenville, SC with members of her family present.
Born in Bound Brook, NJ, January 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Fink. She had formerly resided in Neshanic, NJ and Sugar Run, PA.
She worked as a buyer for W. R. Grace, Somerville, NJ for more than 20 years. She was an avid shopper, enjoyed bingo, spending time with good friends and especially her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Samuel, in 2001, who was originally from Whitehouse, NJ, and was married for 50 years.
Surviving her are her daughter, Susan Aboul-Nasr of Simpsonville, SC; two sons, Edward Samuel, Jr. of Landenberg, PA, and Joseph Samuel of Washington, NJ; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Trisha, Megan, Joshua, Holly, Amanda, Joseph and Farah; and one great-granddaughter, Kayla Virginia.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
