Wallace Shissler

Wallace E. Shissler III, age 73 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Rosita, Mexico, September 20, 1911, son of the late Wallace E. and Mary Nina Perrin Shissler, Jr., he had formerly resided in Willow Grove, PA, and Detroit, MI.

He was an electrical engineer with Burroughs Corp. (Unisys), retiring in 1982.

He was a graduate of Drexel University, and he was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Navy.

Surviving are his wife, Louise Billo Shissler; two sons; Wallace E. Shissler IV of Willow Grove, PA, and William J. Shissler of Pineola, NC; three granddaughters, Danielle, Jessica, and Rebecca Shissler; one great-grandson; and a sister, Mary Herndon of McLean, VA.

Services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
