Walter A. Hamilton

Walter A. Hamilton, Sr., age 89 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died on Friday, April 13, 2007 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in New York City, NY, August 29, 1917, he had resided in Raritan Township for the past fourteen years, having previously lived in Manahawkin, NJ and New Milford, NJ.

An attendee of Briteside Adult Day Care Center, Flemington, NJ, he was formerly employed by Citi Bank, Manhattan, NY in the Security and Bond Department for over thirty-five years, retiring in 1976.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Florence Triano Hamilton in 1993, and a son, Gerard Hamilton in 1995.

Surviving are a daughter, Angela Hamilton of Raritan Township, NJ; a son, Walter Hamilton, Jr. of Raritan Township, NJ; and six grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
