Walter E. Tinnes

Walter E. Tinnes, age 52 years, of Whiting, NJ, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017, in Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ, January 2, 1965, son of the late Walter and Irene Whitehead Tinnes, Walter had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ.

Walter was currently a fork lift driver for Clayton Block Company in Monmouth, NJ.

Surviving are his wife of twenty-one years, Elizabeth Tinnes; three step-children, Thomas Staunton of Whiting, NJ, Charles Staunton of Finland and Kenneth Staunton; one brother, Joseph Tinnes of Arizona; three sisters, Denise Campbell of Easton, PA, Jamie Keigler of Bridgewater, NJ, and Margie Tinnes of Phillipsburg, NJ; three grandchildren, Christopher Staunton, Hailey Staunton and Gabriella Staunton all of Pennsylvania, also surviving are several cousins, aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service.
