Walter Grishka, age 90 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, September 14, 2008, in the Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, November 23, 1917, he was the son of the late Dominick and Catherine Nemanis Griszka.
He was formerly a sewing machine operator with the Flemington Fur Company, then was a custodian in the Flemington-Raritan Schools for twenty-five years.
He was a member of the Flemington Exempt Firemans Association.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-one years, Faye Drosdick Grishka; a sister, Helen Lulis of North Arlington, NJ; a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law, Nick and Sandy Frankevich of Pulaski, NY, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9-11 AM in the funeral home.
