Walter J. Schorr

Walter J. Schorr, age 68 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, July 15, 2007 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, he had resided in the Flemington area for over forty years.

He was a motor vehicle inspector with the NJ Division of Motor Vehicles and was also a songwriter.

A "friend of Bill W.", he is survived by a daughter, Virginia Barber of Rock Island, IL, and many dear friends, especially Rosan Keele, Dan Looney, and Chris Jones. Walter was pre-deceased by his wife, Jane Hoefler Schorr, and his parents, Olga and Elmer Schorr.

Funeral Arrangements and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
