Walter R. Stryker, Sr.

Walter R. Stryker, Sr., age 80 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Nanticoke, PA, September 12, 1924, he was the son of the late Richard and Estella Lewis Stryker.

He was a lifelong farmer, residing in Delaware Township for forty-six years.

His wife, Isabelle Chambers Stryker, died in 2000. He is survived by a son, Walter R. Stryker, Jr., of Delaware Township, NJ; two daughters, Jeanette Carson and her husband Wayne of Plainsboro, PA, and Wendy Stryker of Ottsville, PA; two sisters, Beatrice Stryker of Three Bridges, NJ, and Gertrude Hultz of Millerton, PA; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10- 11 AM in the funeral home.
