Wanda W. Kanaby

Wanda W. Kanaby, age 95 years, died on Monday, October 23, 2006 at Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, July 9, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sophie Murosko Wierzbicki. She had formerly resided in Raritan Township, NJ.

She was a former nurses aide at Jersey City Medical Center.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Kanaby, a sister, Sophie Lawless, and two brothers, Frank and John Wierzbicki. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Kanaby of Raritan Township, NJ, and Robert Kanaby of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 8:45 AM to 10:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
