Warren A. Vierow, age 88 years, of Stockton, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in New York City, NY, March 30, 1921, he was the son of the late John and Cornelia Lang Vierow. He had formerly resided in Yonkers, NY, moving to Hunterdon County in 1967. He had formerly resided in Clinton Township and Franklin Township.
He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He was a graduate of New York University with a degree in Journalism and was a self-employed sales promoter.
Mr. Vierow was also the author of a book on Coryells Ferry (Lambertville), NJ.
His wife, Ann Lochbaum Vierow, died in 1996. Surviving are two daughters, Wendy Vierow of New Paltz, NY, and Barbara Vierow of Arlington, VA; two sons, Carl Vierow of Stockton, NJ, and John Vierow of Herndon, VA; and five grandchildren.
Funeral Services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
