Wayne Alan Schoenagel

Wayne Alan Schoenagel, age 56 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, September 10, 2009.

Born in Scranton, PA, December 22, 1952, he was the son of Charles H. and Thelma Olsommer Schoenagel of Raritan Township, NJ, and had resided in Raritan Township since 1982.

For the past twenty years, Mr. Schoenagel worked for the Township of Raritan Road Department as a Foreman.

A member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flemington, NJ, Mr. Schoenagel was additionally a member of the Flemington Elks Lodge #1928, Flemington, NJ; a member of Darcy Lodge #37 F. & A. M., Flemington, NJ; a member of both the Crescent Temple Shrine and the AA Scottish Rite, both in Trenton, NJ; and was a founding member of the Hunterdon United Soccer Club.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a son, Michael Wayne Schoenagel of Easton, PA; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Jean Schoenagel of Easton, PA; a brother, Mark Charles Schoenagel of Bel Air, MD; and two sisters, Barbara Ann Woods of Boyertown, PA and Pamela May Becker of Barto, PA.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
