Wenonah L. Stover

Wenonah L. Stover, age 78 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died Monday, December 29, 2014, at her home. A lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, she was born in Raritan Township, NJ, October 21, 1936, daughter of the late John W. and Edith Miller Storr. Nona was a 1955 graduate of Flemington High School; was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Raritan Township Fire Company and was also formerly active in Hunterdon Little League Baseball. She was co-founder and office manager of Stover Wells & Pumps, Raritan Township, NJ. Nona was pre-deceased by three brothers, Kenneth "Dutch" Storr, Grenelle "Slim" Storr and Paul Storr. Surviving are her husband of fifty-eight years, John E. "Jack" Stover; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Patty Stover, Jr. of Stockton, NJ, Michael and Karin Stover of Ringoes, NJ, and Thomas and Cindy Stover of Ringoes, NJ; eight grandchildren, Matt, Katie, Kim, Keith, Lauren, Renay, Ryan and Randy Stover; four brothers, Roger Storr of Flemington, NJ, Burdette Storr of Flagler Beach, FL., Richard Storr of Shallotte, NC, and Robert Storr of Sergeantsville, NJ; a sister, Mary Miller of Ringoes, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015, at 10:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday 6:00-9:00 PM.
