Wiley R. Sabo

Wiley R. Sabo, age 69 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Flemington, NJ, August 19, 1937, son of the late Milton and Margaret Barlow Sabo, he had resided in Delaware Township forty years.

He was formerly employed by Ortho Diagnostics, Raritan, NJ until retiring in 1998. Mr. Sabo was also a barber for several years at LoPrinzi's Barber Shop, Flemington, NJ.

A 1956 graduate of Flemington High School, he was a member and Deacon of Sandy Ridge Community Church, Delaware Township, NJ. For many years he was a guitar player with the Sons of the Wiskey Rebellion Band and loved fishing in Canada.

Surviving are his wife of forty-nine years, Joan Smith Sabo; a son, Douglas Sabo of Newton, PA; a daughter, Joan Brelsford of Stockton, NJ; a brother, Milton Sabo and a sister, Margaret Sabo, both of Flemington, NJ; and four grandchildren.

A sister, Marjorie LaMothe, died in 2004.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Sandy Ridge Community Church, Delaware Township, NJ. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
