Willard Case Parker, age 97 years, of Seaford, DE., died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Methodist Manor Nursing Home, in Seaford.
Born in Flemington, NJ, July 23, 1920, son of the late George R. Parker, Sr. and Margery Case Parker, he attended the Flemington schools, then Fishburne Military in Waynesboro, Pa. and graduated from Brown University.
Willard was a retired insurance executive who had formerly resided in Cincinnati, OH, for twenty -five years. He was also an Army Air Corps veteran of World War 2, serving in the Pacific Theater of Operations at Luzon, New Guinea, Philippines and the Western Pacific.
Willard was formerly an active harness horseman and driver and was also active in the Brown Alumni Association.
His wife, Dorothy Donohue Parker, died in 2017 and a brother, George R. Parker, Jr. in 1995.
Surviving are a son, Willard C. Parker of Easton, Md.; a daughter, Jan P. Fowler of Pennington, NJ; a brother, Abram C. Parker of Rockville, Md.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be private on Sunday, July 8, 2018, in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
