William A. Reynolds, DVM, age 81 years, of Flemington, NJ, and Delta, Utah, died Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Hunterdon Care Center.
Born in Sayre, PA., April 13, 1938, son of the late Harold C. and Margaret Manly Reynolds, he was a retired veterinarian who practiced over fifty years in Quakertown, NJ and Flemington, NJ. He also owned and operated a sheep ranch in Delta, Utah.
Bill was a graduate of Penn State University and the Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine. He was a member of the Reaville Church; the National Rifle Association; SCI-Worldwide Wildlife Federation; and the Cornell University Veterinary Alumni Association. He was an avid African wildlife hunter and was also a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Judith Price Reynolds, in 2009 and his son, Eric Reynolds, in 2012.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Whitehead Reynolds; a son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Crystal Reynolds of Ringoes, NJ.; a brother, Richard Reynolds of Parker, CO.; a sister, Margaret Oakes of Mesa AZ; and eight grandchildren, Catherine, Jedidiah, Isabella, Nathanael, Michael, Justin, Elijah and Gavin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at 11 AM in the Reaville Church, Reaville, NJ. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday, May 6, 2019 from 5:00-8:00PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
