William A. Workowski

William A. Workowski, age 91 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Saturday, August 30, 2008 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Germany, May 7, 1917, he was the son of the late Karl and Amelia Angermann Workowski. He had resided in Delaware Township since 1949.

He was a farmer and retired from Johns-Manville Corporation, Manville, NJ. He and his late wife owned and operated the Locktown Sweater Shop, Locktown, NJ for many years.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Elizabeth, in 1994, and by a brother, Karl. Surviving are two sons; Richard Workowski of Rydal, PA, and Ralph Workowski of Delaware Township, NJ; a sister, Olga Beyer in Colorado; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Cornerstone Christian Church, Locktown, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours.
