William Bruce Amerman

William Bruce Amerman, age 79 years, of Hillsborough Township, NJ, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at his home.

Born January 13, 1934, son of the late David W. and Louise Maxim Amerman, he was a lifelong Hillsborough Township resident.

A US Navy veteran of the Korean War, Bruce was a farmer, builder and real estate broker.

His wife, Jane Brobst Amerman, died in 2010 and he was also pre-deceased by a brother, David Amerman.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Arnold Hodgson of Glen Gardner, NJ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Elizabeth Amerman of Hillsborough Township, NJ and John and Laura Amerman of Mt.Joy, PA; a sister, Phyllis Polenz of Ringoes, NJ; six grandchildren, Dawn Ruthe and her husband, Bryan, Lindsay Hodgson and her husband, Pearse Lambert, Billy Amerman and his wife, Karina, Mark Amerman, Bradley Amerman and Niki Amerman; and five great grandchildren, Jackson Ruthe, Logan Ruthe, Marion Lambert, Grace Elizabeth Amerman and Olivia Jane Amerman.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 2, 2013, at 10:00AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Neshanic Cemetery, Neshanic, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
