William Elmer Brandt, age 71, of Washington Borough NJ, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem PA. Born in Canada, Bill resided in Washington Borough for the last several years, but spent the majority of his life in Flemington, New Jersey.
Born January 2, 1952, Bill was the son of the late William and Rachel (Richie) Brandt. Bill attended Hunterdon Central High School from 1965-1969. He went on to be a manager at Channel Home Centers, which later became Rickle, in Flemington before getting his Commercial Drivers License.
Bill was passionate about his APA Pool team, Bill and the Destroyers, and was so proud that he made it to Las Vegas for the Championship in 2014 and won the 9 Ball Garden State Cup Championship in 2020.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents William and Rachel; his brother Raymond Lee Scott and his sister Dorys. He is survived by his three children: son, William C. Brandt and his wife, Renee Brandt, of Flemington New Jersey; his daughters, Khasandra Brandt and Khatrina Brandt of Washington Boro, New Jersey; his sisters Linda Hamilton of Burnaby British Columbia, Canada and Elizabeth Stone of Clinton, New Jersey; three cherished grandchildren: Taylor, Skylar and Kadyn; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Bill will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 19, 2023 at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be on Monday afternoon from 4:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
