William G. Schottman

William G. Schottman, age 88 years, of Flemington Borough, NJ, died on Thursday, May 13, 2004 at his residence.

Born October 25, 1915, in East Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late William G., Sr. and Ethel Carter Schottman. He had resided in Flemington since 1956, having previously resided in Oxford, NJ and Rutland, VT.

He retired in 1981 from Wilson Products, Neshanic, NJ. He was a member of the Flemington Elks Lodge #1928.

His wife, Margaret Winkelmann Schottman, died in 2002. He is survived by three sons: Robert Schottman, of Sunset Beach, NC; Thomas Schottman, of Flemington, NJ; and William G. "Doc" Schottman III, of Flemington, NJ; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ.
