William H. Jennings, age 60 years, of Milford, NJ, entered eternal life at the University Medical Center of Princeton, Plainsboro, NJ, with his beloved wife and soulmate, Dolores Sewak, at his bedside.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, April 9, 1955, Bill was raised in Monroe Township, NJ, and went on to be a Staff Sergeant with the US Air Force 1972-1982. Bill recently retired from his career with the State of New Jersey in the Information Technology Dept.
A legacy on two wheels is how some refer to him for his love of motorcycles and all the years he spent helping others overcome their personal battles. Bill dedicated his time to his family and friends and his love of nature often found him and his wife wandering the countryside be it on foot or the motorcycle. All who knew Bill have been permanently touched by the amazing man he was.
In addition to his loving wife, Dolores, he is survived by his son, William Russell Jennings and his wife, Brianna; his daughter, Jacqueline Sarah Vickers and her husband, Brian; seven grandchildren, all of Lake City, Florida; his sisters, Barbara Garcia of Hightstown, NJ, Cheryl Dougherty of Monroe Township, NJ, and Susan Gardner of Edison, NJ; his brother, Thomas Killen of Brigantine, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. Bill was pre-deceased by his parents, William H. Jennings, Sr. and Barbara Killen in 1995.
Memorial services will be held December 30, 2015, at 7:00 PM in Clinton United Methodist Church, Halstead Street, Clinton, NJ followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
