William J. Fink, age 86 years, of Lehighton, PA., died Sunday, May 27, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem, PA.
Born in Flemington, NJ, December 26, 1931, son of the late John and Frances Hoagland Fink, Bill had resided in Upper Black Eddy, PA, before moving to Lehighton four years ago.
Bill was a 1952 graduate of Flemington High School and was a mechanic with Ethel-Visqueen Corp., Flemington, NJ and later for Tredegar Industries, Inc., Flemington.
He served in the NJ National Guard, was a member of Flemington American Legion Post #159 and the Sunday Morning Golf Group.
His wife, Helen Louise Abbott Fink, died in 2001 and a brother, Robert M. Fink, died in 1953.
Surviving are a son, Robert W. Fink, of Lehighton, PA; a step-son, Charles W. Martinette of Ringoes, NJ; two step-daughters, Pamela D. Landry of Savannah, GA, and Wendy S. Audersik of Downingtown, PA.; two sisters, Shirley Edsoren of Easton, PA. and Joan Anderson of Sebastian, FL.; one grandson, Ryan R.Fink; and seven step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 12 Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Burial will follow in Three Bridges Cemetery, Three Bridges, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday 11:00 –12:00 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
