William J. Hrynyk

William J. Hrynyk, age 78 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Little Brook Nursing Home, Lebanon Township, NJ. Born in Bayonne, NJ, September 4, 1936, son of the late Jack and Katherine Kobilinski Hrynyk, he had resided in Flemington most of his life. Bill was a retired self-employed welder, then operated a catering business and served as an animal control officer for several Hunterdon County municipalities. He was also a life member of Flemington Elks Lodge #1928. Bill also was a US Army veteran and was stationed in Hawaii. His wife, Rose Czyzewski Hrynyk, died in 2011. Surviving are two daughters, Rosemarie Stuart-Herbst of Tuckerton, NJ, and Helen Shumate of Delaware Township, NJ; three grandchildren, Audrey Shumate, James Shumate and Nicole Stuart; and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 1:00PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by entombment in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ.
