William Joseph Chromeck

William Joseph Chromeck, age 89 years, of Delaware Township, NJ died on Monday, February 25, 2019 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in North Hempstead, NY, February 18, 1930, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Trachtulec Chromeck. He had resided in Sergeantsville for the past sixty-three years. Mr. Chromeck was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired Master Plumber. He was a member of the Lambertville Boat Club, The Lambertville American Legion Post, the Lambertville YMCA, and a longtime Delaware Township Health Department Committeeman. Surviving are his wife of sixty-five years, Joyce Stoop Chromeck; and his two daughters, Christine Durant of New Hope, PA, and Beverly Kershaw of Lambertville, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10-11 AM in the funeral home.
