William M. Creighton

William M. Creighton, age 84 years, of Raritan Township, N.J., died Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, N.J.

Born June 23, 1939, in the Bronx, N.Y., William was the son of the late Harry and Eva Kleber Creighton. He was a proud graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School in 1957.

A United States Army Veteran, William worked as an Executive for AT&T in Bedminster, N.J. His job required him to have government clearance for the work he did at NBC Studios. William was also a member of the Flemington Elks, Flemington Moose Lodge, and the AT&T Pioneers. He was an avid golfer and a fan of Notre Dame football. He also enjoyed cheering on his beloved New York Yankees and New York Giants.

He is predeceased by one grandson, Scott Michael Creighton, in 2015. Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Carol Creighton; three children, Michael Creighton and his wife, Sharon of Wind Gap, P.A., Kimberly Creighton of Flemington, N.J., and Erica Creighton of Flemington, N.J.; four grandchildren; one brother, James Creighton of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, N.J., under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, N.J. Entombment will be held in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ.
