William R. Cortright, Sr., age 75 years, of Whiting, NJ died on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 in Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ.
Born in Easton, PA, September 11, 1929, he was the foster son and also raised by the late John and Lizzie Inscho.
A resident of Pittstown, NJ for many years, he also formerly resided in Alpha, NJ, Lehigh Acres, FL and had resided in Whiting, NJ for the past eight years.
He was an oil burner serviceman for Wagner Oil, Clinton, NJ until retiring. He was a member of the Crestwood Evangelical Congregational; Church, Whiting, NJ.
Surviving are his wife Ethel Perrine Cortright; a daughter, Sharon E. Perry of Flemington, NJ; three sons, William Jr. and Robert L., both of Easton, PA and David E. of Flemington, NJ; and a brother, Charles Cortright, of Easton, PA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
