William R. Courter

William R. Courter, age 67 years, of West Amwell Township, NJ, died Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, July 24, 1955, he was the son of William C. and Carolyn Cartwright Courter. He grew up in Berkeley Heights NJ and lived all of his married life in Hunterdon County NJ.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife of forty-five years, Elsa Courter; two children, Douglas Courter and his wife, Anna of Virginia, Jillian Bice and her husband, Chad of West Amwell, NJ; two grandchildren, Evan Bice and Kyle Bice; one sister, Kim Honecker and her husband, Bruce, of Bayville; other sisters and brothers in marriage, Linda and Otto, Barbara, Anita and Bob, and Russell and Diane. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 9:30-11:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A memorial service will follow visitation at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
