William Thomas

William Thomas, age 72 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, December 21, 2007 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, October 21, 1935, son of the late Benjamin and Alma Kerr Thomas, he had resided in Raritan Township thirty-three years and had formerly resided in Union, NJ.

He was a Vice-President and Senior Plant Manager for Johanna Foods, Inc., Raritan Township, NJ, retiring in 2000.

Mr. Thomas was a member and former board member of the Flemington Jewish Community Center, Flemington, NJ and also served with the United States Army from 1955-1957.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Chaiken Thomas; a son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence A. and Sherry Lynn Thomas of Middletown, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Mindy and Leonard Kaminsky of Fairlawn, NJ; and two grandsons.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
