Wilma Mclaughlin

Wilma McLaughlin, age 91 years, of Bloomfield, NJ, died on Saturday, May 3, 2008 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, December 17, 1917, daughter of the late Julius and Anna Kindred Lorenz, she had resided in Newark and Bloomfield for many years.

She worked at Westinghouse Corporation in Bloomfield and later for the Telephone Company in Newark. She was an active member of the Young at Heart Club of Clifton as well as the Valley Seniors.

Mrs. McLaughlin was pre-deceased by her husband of 41 years, Joseph McLaughlin in 1981.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Doru Popescu of Pittstown, NJ and a sister, Evelyn MacKenzie. She was a loving grandmother to three granddaughters, Lauren, Alicia and Carolyn.

Memorial Services will be held on SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, 303 Maplewood Avenue, Clifton, NJ. A repast for family and friends will follow at the Church.
