Won Joon Kim

Won Joon Kim, age 87 years, of Germantown, MD, died Friday February 5, 2021 at the Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ. She was born on April 22, 1933 in Kilju Providence, Korea and became a Naturalized U.S. Citizen on October 10th, 1980. She loved life and lived to the fullest. Growing up at a well to do family, we all knew her as a princess with her looks and a flair! Her quietness and patience inspired her children and grandchildren, teaching them the importance of love and family. She will be missed by all of us on this earth but we have an eternal hope of seeing her again. She is survived by her husband, Soon Bong Kim; three children, Peter Kim of Hanover MD, Sunnie Chung of Lorton VA, and Justin Kim of Germantown MD, and nine grandchildren, David and Isabella Kim, Jonathan and Areum Chung, Kristine and Allen Sarmiento, Michael and Laney Chung and Steven Chung. Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
