Yaeko "Bonnie" Mcmahon

Yaeko “Bonnie” McMahon, age 88 years, of Flemington, NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Bonnie was born on Taiwan on March 6, 1935. As a child, she moved to Kyushu, Japan. As a young woman, she worked as a nurse’s aide. She immigrated to the United States with her late husband following the Korean War. Bonnie previously resided in Ringoes and Mt. Airy, NJ (West Amwell Township) for twenty-two years.

She was a devoted wife, excellent homemaker, and skilled cook. Bonnie was a devoted godmother to Kerry Li Runkle and wonderful neighbor. She loved German Shepherd dogs.

Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. McMahon , who died in 2015. Surviving is her beloved goddaughter, Kerry Li Runkle (Exton, PA), Kerry’s parents, Bruce and Christina Runkle, and brother, Kyle Runkle (Mt. Airy, NJ).

Graveside services and interment, with her late husband, in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
