Yekaterina Polevaya

Yekaterina Polevaya, age 90, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Born October 24, 1925, in Sedlistoye, Astrakhan, Russia, her family was forced to Siberia where she lived and worked as a bookkeeper and accountant for many years. Her husband, Boris Polevoy, predeceased her in Siberia as well as her two brothers and one sister. Yekaterina is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lydia and Ilya Koyfman of Ringoes, NJ, her grandson, Boris Koyfman of Phiilipsburg, NJ, and her granddaughter, Stephenie Koyfman of Brooklyn, NY. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington.
