Yolanda T. Lavecchia

Yolanda T. LaVecchia, age 89 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Sunday, February 1, 2015, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Little Italy in New York City, NY, October 11, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Antonino and Carolina Blandini Scire. She had resided in New York City until moving to Readington Township ten years ago. She retired from the Social Security Administration, New York, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-one years, Angelo S. LaVecchia, in 2011, and her siblings, Feliciano Scire, Maria DiOrio, Agrippina DeLiso, James Scire and Dr. Helen Scire. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Salvatore and Maria Raquel LaVecchia of Readington Township, NJ; and four grandchildren: Angela, Anthony, Silvana, and Chiara, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Annandale, NJ.
